ChopArt and Stand up for Kids are partnered to bring weekly street outreach to homeless youth living on the streets. Each Wednesday, volunteers walk a 5-mile route from downtown Atlanta to pass out hygiene packs and give words of kindness to the youth they spot. Going out each week, rain or shine, is so important to the maintenance of this program. The youth need to know that they can count on us to show up.
This partnership's goal is to grow and sustain the street outreach volunteer base to allow the sites to grow and serve more homeless youth. We are looking for volunteers who can do routes bi-weekly. If interested, please complete the form here. Orientation dates (9:30a-3p in Stone Mountain):
